What Does an Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant Do?
* Manage end-to-end change requests, enhancements, and project tasks related to Oracle EBS SCM modules
* Perform requirement analysis, functional design, impact and feasibility analysis, and configuration setup
* Conduct system, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Configure Oracle EBS test and production environments for Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, and related modules
* Collaborate with technical developers and recommend custom solutions when needed
* Liaise with business stakeholders for requirements validation, solution review, and training
* Prepare and maintain documentation including test plans, implementation checklists, and rollback strategies
* Ensure compliance with HMC Service Management and change control processes
* Coordinate release management and post-go-live support activities
* Raise and manage Oracle SRs for issue resolution
* Participate in OBIEE report design and deployment
What Skills Are Needed for an Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant in Doha?
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle EBS SCM modules
* Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.x and at least 2 full-cycle implementations
* Strong knowledge of Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, iProcurement, Sourcing, WMS, and Mobile Supply Chain
* Experience with AIM and OUM methodologies
* Familiarity with third-party integration, OBIEE reporting, and performance testing
* Background in supporting healthcare SCM processes is an advantage
Skills:
* Functional design and analysis, solution configuration, feasibility and impact assessments
* Oracle EBS SCM modules, Oracle Support SRs, OBIEE, WMS processes, and integration
* ITIL process understanding and documentation preparation
* Excellent communication, training, and client engagement skills
