As a Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of banking transformation projects, ensuring they meet objectives, stay within budget, and comply with local and international banking regulations. You will collaborate with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to deliver impactful results in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution across banking areas including retail, corporate, and digital banking
- Coordinate with internal departments, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Create comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and keep key stakeholders informed through consistent reporting
- Ensure all project activities align with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks
- Lead status meetings, document key decisions, and oversee change control processes
- Promote agile and hybrid methodologies tailored to the banking environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience specifically in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of banking operations, digital channels, and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent
- Expertise in methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches
- PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and regulated environment
