SAP BW/4HANA & BI Consultant – Data Modeling & Analytics
We are seeking a seasoned SAP BW/4HANA & BI Consultant to design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions using SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP BusinessObjects. This is a high-impact role for professionals with a strong background in BI architecture, data integration, reporting, and analytics in complex SAP environments.

What Does an SAP BW/4HANA Consultant Do?
An SAP BW/4HANA Consultant is responsible for developing, modeling, and integrating scalable data warehouse and business intelligence solutions to support advanced reporting and analytics across the enterprise. This includes building robust data pipelines, optimizing performance, and aligning BI architecture with business needs.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP BW/4HANA data warehouse solutions
- Model and manage data structures for reporting and analytics using SAP HANA
- Deliver dashboards and reports using SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) including WebI, Crystal Reports, IDT, and Dashboards
- Integrate SAP BW with SAP S/4HANA and other source systems using ODP and CDS Views
- Optimize data flow, transformation logic, and query performance
- Develop custom logic using ABAP and SQLScript as needed
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot BW/4HANA environments for availability and performance
- Work closely with business users to define data requirements and reporting KPIs
- Ensure alignment with business processes, especially within finance and operational domains
What Skills Are Needed for a BW/4HANA Consultant Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP BW, SAP BI, and Native HANA
- At least two full-cycle implementation projects in SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA environments
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW/4HANA modeling and architecture
- Proficient with SAP BOBJ tools: Web Intelligence (WebI), Dashboards, Crystal Reports, IDT
- Integration experience between SAP HANA/BW and SAP BusinessObjects 4.x suite
- Advanced knowledge of CDS Views, ODP, ABAP, and SQLScript
- Strong skills in SAP HANA performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of financial reporting and operational data modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the tax solutions domain
- Experience working with finance data models and compliance-driven reporting
