What Does a SAP T&RM Consultant Do?
As a SAP Tax & Revenue Management Consultant, you will lead the implementation and support of SAP PSCD functionalities in large-scale public sector taxation projects. You will be responsible for transforming business requirements into SAP solutions, managing integrations, and ensuring process compliance with tax legislation and revenue management frameworks.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead SAP Tax & Revenue Management (T&RM) and SAP PSCD implementations for public sector clients
- Configure taxpayer registration, return filing, assessment, collections, payments, deregistration, and refunds
- Integrate SAP systems with third-party platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and compliance
- Conduct business impact analysis and due diligence for taxation systems
- Prepare detailed business requirement documentation and functional specifications
- Coordinate with implementation vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Deliver user training to both end users and senior management
- Ensure successful delivery of project milestones with high-quality standards
- Keep abreast of emerging tax laws, legislative changes, and SAP advancements
- Support Agile delivery teams by promoting innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Provide insights into testing strategies using both manual and automated approaches
What Skills Are Needed for This Role?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience:
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in SAP consulting
- Minimum 2 years working in Taxation, Accounting, or Auditing domains
- Proven expertise in SAP T&RM and PSCD modules
- Prior experience on public sector projects is essential
Skills:
- Deep understanding of tax lifecycle management and legislation
- Functional experience in business requirement gathering and impact analysis
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery in SAP ecosystems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and innovation mindset
- Familiarity with SDLC and testing methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements
- A detail-oriented and meticulous approach to process design and documentation
