What Does a Senior Manager in Finance & Performance Do?
In this senior leadership role, you will guide CFOs and finance leaders in transforming their finance functions through strategic, operational, and digital initiatives. You will design and implement solutions across areas such as Finance Strategy, Global Business Services, Operational Finance, and M&A Finance.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead the design and execution of finance transformation strategies for clients
- Develop shared service and outsourcing models across finance functions
- Drive innovation in planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Optimize financial processes and structures on both group and subsidiary levels
- Ensure financial readiness in mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs
- Manage cross-functional project teams and engage directly with C-level stakeholders
What Skills Are Needed for a Senior Manager Role in Düsseldorf?
Education and Experience:
- Degree in business, economics, or related field
- Minimum six years of relevant experience in consulting, auditing, or industry finance
Expertise:
- Deep knowledge in at least one finance consulting domain (strategy, operations, shared services, M&A)
- Strong understanding of digital transformation and finance technology
Skills:
- Proven leadership of interdisciplinary teams
- High analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both German and English
- Willingness to travel for client engagements
