What Does an Audit Analytics Associate Do?
As an Audit Analytics Associate, you will work closely with core audit teams to apply data analysis techniques to financial engagements. You’ll help assess client processes, extract and analyze data, and support audit teams in delivering timely, accurate, and impactful audit outcomes using tools such as SQL, ACL, Power BI, and Tableau.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Analyze client data and business processes to apply planned audit analytics procedures
- Collaborate with audit teams to evaluate findings and improve audit quality
- Extract large datasets from client systems using custom queries and SQL
- Document analytical steps, procedures, and results clearly and accurately
- Contribute to reporting using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to gather and clarify requirements
- Actively pursue learning opportunities and enhance technical knowledge
- Support continuous improvement in audit methodologies through analytics
What Skills Are Needed for an Audit Analytics Associate in Dubai?
Education & Background:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business IT, or a related field
Experience:
- 1 to 2.5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in an audit or finance-related environment
- Hands-on experience with Audit Command Language (ACL), SQL, or similar tools
- Familiarity with audit concepts and financial business processes is a plus
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
