Job Overview
Azizi Developments is looking for a qualified Civil Inspector to join our expanding onsite Supervision team in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Civil Inspector will be responsible for supervising and inspecting structural and civil works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the completion of integrated civil and structural works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per project guidelines
- Monitor construction progress through engineer reports and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on target
- Ensure contractors organize construction equipment and materials efficiently to maintain smooth operations
- Conduct inspections of piling works, post-tensioned slabs, precast walls, and structural steel activities
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project quality standards, policies, and approved method statements
- Recommend improvements to site procedures and implement best practices for quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Ensure full compliance with relevant safety protocols and governmental regulations during site operations
- Provide technical expertise in structural analysis and resolve on-site issues
- Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5–10 years of construction site supervision and inspection experience
- Strong experience with structural and civil construction practices, particularly in large-scale residential or commercial developments
- Expertise in structural analysis and evaluation
Skills:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proficient understanding of construction documentation and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental management systems
