Entertainment Associate Manager – Cinema Operations & Guest Experience

Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment is hiring an Entertainment Associate Manager for its cinema division in Cairo, Egypt. This role is central to overseeing daily site operations, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards while supporting revenue and budgetary goals.

What Does an Entertainment Associate Manager Do?

The Associate Manager supports cinema operations by supervising staff, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring a premium guest experience. This role involves coordinating with contractors, implementing procedures, and driving site performance through strategic initiatives and compliance with local laws.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Supervise team members to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations
- Monitor site performance and support revenue growth through effective planning and budgeting
- Oversee third-party contractor activities and enforce operational consistency and safety standards
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify equipment faults and facility issues, reporting them to the line manager
- Maintain asset registers, manage periodic maintenance, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality
- Communicate operational updates and procedures to team members to ensure legal and policy compliance
- Drive a positive team culture, fostering collaboration, training, and motivation

What Skills Are Needed for an Entertainment Role in Cairo?

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant certification in any field

Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in operations, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity

Skills:
- Strong organizational and operational leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written)
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
- Proficiency in facility audits, service scheduling, and safety compliance
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence
