This leadership role offers the opportunity to conceptualize and deliver high-end residential projects, contributing to iconic developments like Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice.

Job Overview
The Head of Concept will oversee the entire conceptual design process for luxury residential developments, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the creative vision aligns with Azizi’s premium project standards. The role demands innovation, technical excellence, resource management, and active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create world-class design pitches and architectural concepts for luxury residential developments
- Lead a team comprising architects, CAD/BIM technicians, visualizers, and graphic designers from feasibility through schematic design
- Utilize AI tools for concept creation and drive automation in design production processes
- Manage team resources efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality and within timelines
- Develop deliverables including feasibility studies, concept design presentations, preliminary design approval kits, and sales and marketing materials
- Foster teamwork and promote a creative culture within the design studio
- Oversee and manage design changes based on client, investor, and stakeholder feedback
- Ensure all design outcomes meet client requirements, construction feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability benchmarks
- Guide the preparation of submission documents for statutory authority approvals
- Continuously update the Studio Practice Guides with knowledge of evolving local and international codes and industry standards
- Apply Safety in Design principles throughout all project phases
- Mentor junior team members and promote continuous technical knowledge sharing
- Research and develop innovative architectural solutions that enhance project outcomes
- Build strategic relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external consultants
- Maintain accurate documentation of all design decisions and approvals
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience, with a strong portfolio in large-scale residential, master planning, premium mixed-use, and hospitality developments
- Proven leadership in managing design studios or conceptual design teams
- Experience working on luxury real estate projects in the UAE or internationally
Skills:
- Strong freehand sketching abilities and detail resolution skills
- Excellent knowledge and practical application of Adobe Suite, Autodesk Suite, and BIM/3D modeling software
- Strong technological acumen to drive design ideation and iterative processes
- Deep understanding of construction sequences, project cost management, and sustainable design practices
- Outstanding team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced design presentation and technical documentation capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of UAE authority guidelines, building regulations, and submission processes
- Proactive approach to research and adoption of cutting-edge architectural practices
