What Does a Head of Human Resources Do?
Azizi Developments is looking for a visionary and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead HR strategy, employee development, and organizational culture from their Dubai headquarters. This leadership role is essential in aligning human capital with business objectives while fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performance work environment across the organization.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s long-term business vision
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition, with a focus on sourcing high-caliber professionals in the real estate sector
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to improve satisfaction, retention, and workplace productivity
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labor law, including visa processes and employee documentation
- Lead performance appraisal cycles, create structured feedback systems, and identify development opportunities
- Plan and manage internal training, upskilling, and leadership development programs
- Evaluate and improve compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure market competitiveness
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Champion DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) initiatives to ensure a fair and empowering environment for all staff
- Oversee conflict resolution, employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes with integrity and confidentiality
What Skills Are Needed for a Head of HR in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or MBA (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Strong background in UAE labor law, HR governance, and compliance requirements
- Experience working within large-scale real estate or construction-based organizations (preferred)
Skills:
- Strategic HR planning and leadership
- Recruitment and talent pipeline development
- Organizational development and culture transformation
- Strong communication, mediation, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with HRMS platforms and analytics tools
