This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to iconic luxury projects such as Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice, delivering world-class lighting solutions for façade, interior, and landscape environments.

Job Overview
The Lighting Designer will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing detailed lighting schemes that enhance the architectural vision, functionality, and aesthetic quality of Azizi’s luxury real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for delivering unique lighting experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, structural engineers, and internal MEP teams across project stages
- Independently develop creative lighting concepts for façades, interiors, and landscapes
- Conduct on-site technical inspections and reviews during project execution
- Coordinate technical workshops with suppliers to integrate innovative products and solutions
- Contribute actively to the growth and technical excellence of the studio\'s lighting design team
- Attend conferences and exhibitions to stay updated on emerging lighting technologies and trends
- Apply expertise in international lighting codes and standards (CIBSE, SLL, etc.) across all designs
- Prepare lighting design deliverables including concept presentations, luminaire specifications, control schedules, lighting calculations, bills of quantity (BOQ), layouts, and detailed drawings
- Produce high-quality sketches, visualizations, and detailed lighting designs using Dialux Evo, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Lumion, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and InDesign
- Ensure lighting solutions align with project design goals, sustainability standards, and budget requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a related field is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of lighting design experience, ideally with a lighting consultancy or high-end lighting supplier focused on delivering experiential lighting solutions
- Previous experience working on luxury residential, hospitality, or large-scale commercial projects in the UAE or GCC is an advantage
Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Dialux Evo (and Dialux 4.12), Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, and InDesign
- Strong knowledge of international lighting regulations and best practices (CIBSE, SLL, etc.)
- Creative thinking with a strong design aesthetic and technical ability
- Excellent sketching and visual communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills
