This is an exciting opportunity to work on iconic projects like Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice, contributing to the design of high-end residential and hospitality developments.

Job Overview
The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, detailed design, and coordination of complex mechanical systems for high-rise and luxury residential projects. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with authority requirements and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complete mechanical systems (Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Smoke Control) for residential and mixed-use projects, from Concept to Construction Document stages
- Perform accurate cooling load calculations using Authority-approved software
- Coordinate with Submittal Engineers to ensure documentation meets the requirements of Dubai authorities such as DEWA, Trakhees, and DCD
- Maintain proper record-keeping of all mechanical documents submitted to authorities
- Engage with mechanical equipment suppliers to verify that selected equipment meets project-specific design requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and MEP coordinators
- Ensure all designs adhere to Dubai building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize mechanical system designs without compromising quality
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with reputed PMCs or consultants in the Middle East
- Project portfolio must include high-rise towers, luxury residential developments, hospitality, or mixed-use projects in the UAE
Skills:
- Proficient in HAP software for HVAC load calculations
- Strong knowledge of ductwork and ventilation design principles
- Understanding of mechanical equipment selection, specification, and installation
- Familiarity with Dubai authority regulations (DEWA, Trakhees, DCD, DM)
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and coordination skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office software
