Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is seeking an Order to Cash Accountant to join its Finance division in Cairo, Egypt. This role supports transactional accounting processes, with a focus on accounts receivable and customer revenue functions, ensuring financial integrity and timely collections across business units.

What Does an Order to Cash Accountant Do?
The Order to Cash Accountant is responsible for managing receivables, posting revenue transactions, performing account reconciliations, and preparing aging reports. This position plays a key role in the financial closing process and in maintaining a healthy cash flow by tracking and supporting timely customer collections.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Process and close revenue transactions and ensure accurate financial postings
- Handle daily operations for accounts receivable and customer invoicing
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
- Generate AR aging reports and coordinate with business units for follow-up and collections
- Review and post receipts and journal entries in accordance with policy
- Support the financial month-end close process by passing assigned journal entries
- Train and support junior staff as needed in Order to Cash processes
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
What Skills Are Needed for an O2C Accountant Role in Cairo?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)
Experience:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or financial operations
Skills:
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP or financial accounting systems preferred
