P2P Associate Accountant – Accounts Payable Operations
Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is looking for a motivated P2P Associate Accountant to join its Human Capital finance operations team in Cairo, Egypt. This role supports the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle by handling vendor payments, invoice processing, and reconciliation to ensure smooth and timely financial transactions across business units.

What Does a P2P Associate Accountant Do?
The P2P Associate Accountant is responsible for managing invoice processing, vendor account reconciliation, expense claim reviews, and ensuring compliance with payment terms and internal financial controls. This role is critical in maintaining healthy vendor relationships and upholding Majid Al Futtaim’s finance service standards.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Maintain vendor accounts and ensure all transactions are processed within defined payment terms
- Review and process invoices, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and payment requests in compliance with policy
- Reconcile vendor statements and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Validate and process employee travel and expense reimbursement claims
- Monitor aging reports and take timely follow-up actions to clear outstanding balances
- Handle supplier queries and complaints, escalating complex issues where necessary
- Perform accruals and attach required supporting documentation for financial reporting
- Ensure alignment with agreed SLAs and contribute to period-end close activities
What Skills Are Needed for a P2P Accounting Role in Cairo?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)
Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in accounts payable or finance department
Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of ERP or financial systems is an added advantage
