Azizi Developments is looking for a highly experienced Procurement Engineer - Civil Finishes to manage overseas procurement and vendor coordination for premium residential and hospitality developments across Dubai. This role is critical to ensuring that all civil finishes materials meet technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements while aligning with international quality standards.

What Does a Procurement Engineer - Civil Finishes Do?
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality civil finishes items
- Evaluate and select vendors based on their performance history, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project needs
- Review technical specifications with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure material compatibility
- Optimize supply chain processes by minimizing lead times, reducing risk, and managing inventory levels
- Negotiate contracts, delivery terms, and payment conditions to maximize procurement value
- Monitor and track procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with project financial targets
- Implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure all materials comply with technical and industry standards
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Source finishes materials for residential and hotel developments including flooring, tiling, sanitaryware, joinery, wall finishes, and more
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles including overseas shipping, documentation, and customs coordination
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international vendors and logistics partners
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, quality, or lead time delays
- Prepare procurement schedules and align procurement activities with construction milestones
- Lead supplier audits and compliance checks to maintain consistent material quality
What Skills Are Needed for a Procurement Engineer in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in civil finishes within the real estate or construction sector
