Job Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to join our prestigious Design 360 Studio based at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. This role will focus on delivering technical excellence in hospitality design projects, ensuring that all developments meet authority regulations, international standards, and the creative vision of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of architectural projects through all design stages, with a focus on authority submissions and regulatory compliance
- Review and approve detailed drawings to ensure technical precision, quality, and constructability
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to resolve technical and design issues
- Manage submissions to Dubai Municipality and other authorities, ensuring compliance with DTCM, FLS Code, FPA, IPC, and UAE-specific regulations
- Ensure projects adhere to international codes and standards such as IBC, NFPA, and ASHRAE
- Supervise and mentor the technical design team, promoting continuous professional growth
- Protect the original design intent while translating concepts into technically feasible documentation
- Work closely with the Lead Technical Architect to align project deliverables and design compliance with Azizi\'s objectives
- Conduct regular technical reviews and quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to project goals
- Provide leadership in BIM workflows and documentation processes
- Manage multiple hospitality projects simultaneously, maintaining deadlines and quality standards
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architecture, specifically in technical roles
- Must have completed at least 4 city hotel projects
- Strong experience with Dubai Municipality regulations, DTCM submissions, and familiarity with FLS Code, FPA, and IPC standards
Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and systems; certification preferred
- Dubai Municipality Registration preferred
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Ability to interpret contracts and apply technical specifications effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
