This role offers an opportunity to contribute to iconic projects such as Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Job Overview
The Technical Engineer will oversee the technical review, design coordination, and commissioning of firefighting systems across high-rise and residential projects. The role involves ensuring that all systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with UAE regulations, authority requirements, and Azizi Developments’ high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in the design, installation, inspection, and commissioning of firefighting systems, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire pumps, and standpipe systems
- Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, site engineers, and consultants to ensure fire protection systems meet project specifications and authority requirements
- Review drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings for firefighting systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Supervise and oversee the testing and commissioning processes to ensure systems are fully operational before project handover
- Ensure all firefighting system installations comply with UAE Civil Defense codes and other relevant regulations
- Assist in preparing and submitting documents for authority approvals and inspections
- Identify and resolve technical issues on-site to avoid project delays
- Maintain accurate records of testing results, inspections, and compliance certifications
- Support in the preparation of reports and documentation for internal management and regulatory agencies
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in firefighting system design, installation, and commissioning
- At least 3 years of UAE-based experience working on high-rise or large residential construction projects
Skills:
- Proficient in firefighting system design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong technical knowledge of firefighting system components, pumps, sprinklers, alarms, and hydrants
- Familiarity with UAE Fire and Life Safety Codes, NFPA standards, and Civil Defense approval processes
- Excellent site supervision and project coordination skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills
