The General Manager of Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading a future-ready supply chain strategy across the MENA region, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role focuses on optimizing inbound and outbound logistics, enhancing e-commerce capabilities, and building strategic partnerships to align with business objectives and growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless logistics, distribution, and compliance.
- Manage inbound logistics from the origin to regional distribution centers, optimizing transport providers.
- Supervise outbound logistics for retail stores and e-commerce platforms, enhancing third-party logistics performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by managing product registrations and maintaining an updated compliance database.
- Develop and implement cost-effective supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Oversee central contract tracking, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits to uphold governance, compliance, and financial efficiency.
- Align supply chain strategies with business growth plans, integrating digital transformation and automation.
- Strengthen e-commerce and omnichannel logistics capabilities, including last-mile delivery and reverse logistics.
- Build and manage strategic logistics partnerships, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Establish performance management frameworks and oversee tendering processes for supply chain contracts.
- Lead talent development initiatives, benchmarking key performance indicators with HR to enhance productivity.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to build high-performing teams, ensuring business continuity through succession planning.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent professional qualification in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- Minimum 15 years of international retail supply chain experience, with a total career span of 15-20 years.
- Expertise in supply chain transformation, business case development, and organizational change management.
- Strong understanding of retail supply chain operations across MENA and Asia, including omnichannel logistics.
- Proven ability to manage international stakeholders and drive strategic partnerships.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to oversee multiple program streams effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours as required.
