Majid Al Futtaim Retail is hiring a Quality Officer to support quality assurance processes across Private Label products and customer feedback channels at the UAE Head Office. This role is responsible for coordinating lab testing, audits, complaint resolution, and regulatory compliance across various product categories and Carrefour stores.

What Does a Quality Officer Do?
The Quality Officer supports end-to-end product quality monitoring, manages communication with service providers and regulatory teams, and helps ensure compliance with Carrefour’s quality standards. The role also plays a key part in managing customer complaints and supporting Private Label product development across operating countries.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Follow up on lab testing, product audits, and customer complaints to ensure timely resolution
- Support Private Label product development by reviewing and aligning technical documentation with Carrefour policies and local regulations
- Communicate audit findings and lab analysis results to relevant quality managers for corrective action
- Coordinate with store-level quality teams and external service providers to maintain compliance and a positive brand image
- Assist logistics and registration teams with regulatory requirements for Carrefour product listings
- Prepare regular reports on quality-related activities, non-conformities, and complaint trends
- Track and manage product recalls, complaint investigations, and follow-up actions with all stakeholders
- Liaise with Carrefour France and Private Label teams regarding non-conformities and investigation updates
What Skills Are Needed for a Quality Assurance Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory compliance, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors
Skills:
- Strong planning, organizational, and documentation skills
- Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of preparing structured reports
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations and international audit standards is an advantage
- Ability to manage complaints and recall processes with professionalism and urgency
