Majid Al Futtaim Retail is hiring a Quality Officer to support product quality control and customer complaint management for Private Label products at the UAE Head Office. This role focuses on coordinating lab testing, audits, regulatory documentation, and communication with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Carrefour’s quality standards.

What Does a Quality Officer Do?
The Quality Officer is responsible for monitoring product quality processes, managing recalls and customer complaints, and supporting Private Label compliance across operating countries. The role also involves liaising with quality service providers and CRF France to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Coordinate lab testing, product audits, and complaint tracking across operating units
- Review and revise technical documents for Private Label development to ensure alignment with Carrefour quality policies and local regulations
- Communicate with in-store quality teams and external quality service providers to maintain compliance and brand standards
- Prepare quality reports and updates for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Manage customer complaints, initiate product recalls, and follow up on investigations at the store or warehouse level
- Collaborate with logistics teams on product registration with local authorities
- Liaise with CRF France and internal teams on non-conformities, ensuring all supporting documentation is collected and corrective actions are implemented
What Skills Are Needed for a Quality Assurance Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory compliance, preferably within retail or FMCG
Skills:
- Strong planning, organization, and reporting capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related software tools
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with local food safety laws and international quality standards
- Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple quality-related tasks
