Officer – Quality Assurance & Product Compliance

Majid Al Futtaim Retail is looking to hire a Quality Officer at its UAE Head Office to support quality control processes across Private Label products and customer service operations. This role is critical in managing lab analysis, audits, customer complaints, and regulatory documentation to uphold Carrefour’s quality standards and ensure compliance across the supply chain.

What Does a Quality Officer Do?

The Quality Officer coordinates with internal teams and external quality service providers to manage product audits, complaint investigations, recall processes, and documentation related to Private Label development. The role also ensures that quality policies are maintained across stores and product lines in compliance with local and Carrefour regulations.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Monitor and coordinate quality activities related to product development, lab testing, audits, and customer complaints
- Support Private Label documentation review and ensure alignment with Carrefour quality standards and regulatory requirements in MAF operating countries
- Maintain clear communication with quality teams across stores, authorities, and third-party service providers
- Prepare and share regular reports on quality performance, lab non-conformities, and audit results
- Collaborate with logistics teams to manage CRF product registration with local authorities
- Handle and track product recalls, store investigations, and customer complaint resolution
- Liaise with Carrefour France and Private Label teams regarding non-compliant products and implement follow-up corrective actions

What Skills Are Needed for This Quality Role in Dubai?

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field

Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in a quality-related role, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector

Skills:
- Excellent planning, organization, and reporting skills
- Strong communication and business presentation abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Knowledge of quality management systems, lab procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and follow-ups
