Senior Commercial Consultancy Manager – Lead Major Sports Projects in Saudi Arabia
The Project
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major sports stadiums and related projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is leading the programme and seeks high-calibre professionals to manage teams throughout every phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities
Safety First
- Lead and maintain high standards in safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance
- Ensure adherence to local health and safety regulations
- Foster an inclusive work environment and promote the wellbeing of the team
Client Focus
- Manage key assignments, providing strategic direction and ensuring delivery aligns with project goals
- Oversee the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses for formal execution
- Manage costing related to design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges
- Provide advice on contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract terms
- Supervise cost control and reporting services during the contract period
- Oversee the production and presentation of monthly post-contract cost reports to the client
- Manage the evaluation of claims for delays and additional costs submitted by contractors and subcontractors
- Provide guidance on issuing practical completion certificates and negotiating final accounts
- Lead the cost consultant team, offering coaching, performance management, and technical development
- Drive improvements in systems and processes, fostering transformational change
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Work towards net zero carbon transition by identifying and managing carbon emissions during project delivery

- Ensure operations are fiscally and ethically sound, aligned with business objectives and compliance obligations

Required Qualifications
- Must meet visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including relevant work experience on high-value projects for a project management consultancy
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Over 15 years of experience in commercial consultancy or project management roles
- Previous experience working on large-scale, high-profile projects
