Construction Manager - Civil Construction (Data Center Project)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee civil construction activities for a high-tech data center project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with construction standards, health and safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the civil construction site, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient project execution
- Supervise and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment
- Develop detailed construction schedules, manage project timelines, and ensure the timely completion of milestones
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and maintaining compliance with industry safety standards
- Oversee the quality of construction work, ensuring all civil works meet project specifications, codes, and regulations
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and mitigate potential cost overruns or delays
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, project managers, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant laws, environmental regulations, and data center-specific planning permissions
- Identify and resolve site-related issues or conflicts to minimize disruptions to project timelines
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction management, preferably in data center or high-tech infrastructure projects
- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Chartered status (e.g., MCIOB or ICE) is desirable
- Strong understanding of civil construction techniques, including foundations, drainage, site preparation, and heavy infrastructure work
- Familiarity with data center-specific requirements is a plus
- Proven experience in leading and managing construction teams, resolving conflicts, and driving high performance
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations with a strong track record of implementing best practices on-site
- Strong project management skills, including experience with scheduling, budgeting, and client management
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with strict deadlines and evolving project requirements
