What Does an HR Business Partner Do at Al-Futtaim?
As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, supporting business growth through strategic workforce planning, talent development, and change management. This role ensures HR initiatives reinforce a performance-driven, compliant, and inclusive culture across departments.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational structure, workforce planning, and HR compliance
- Partner with department heads to implement HR strategies aligned with business priorities
- Support the onboarding, induction, and development of new employees
- Guide managers through performance management, coaching, and employee relations
- Collaborate with L&D on skill-building and succession planning for high-potential staff
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement
- Manage ER cases, compliance audits, and HR policy implementation
- Lead manpower planning and annual budgeting processes
- Conduct job analyses, assist with recruitment strategy, and participate in panel interviews
- Ensure all employment practices comply with UAE labor law and Group HR policy
- Champion Emiratization and diversity objectives
What Qualifications Are Required?
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Psychology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR Generalist or Business Partner roles
- CIPD qualification is a strong advantage
- Previous experience working in large organizations within the GCC is preferred
Skills & Traits:
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and consultative skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive people initiatives
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Strong understanding of HR operations, policies, and UAE labor laws
