What Does a Bartender Do?
As a Bartender at QE2 Dubai, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages while ensuring an engaging and memorable bar experience for guests. Working in an environment rich with British heritage, you will uphold luxury service standards and bring creative energy to every shift.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per standard recipes
- Recommend drinks and inform guests about daily specials and signature cocktails
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area and equipment
- Monitor bar inventory and coordinate with the team for restocking
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and maintain balance sheets
- Ensure all beverages are prepared in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Deliver personalized and attentive service to create a memorable guest experience
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to enhance overall service delivery
What Skills Are Needed for a Bartender in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender or bar staff in a hotel, bar, or luxury venue
- Background in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Mixology training or beverage certifications are an added advantage
Skills:
- Warm, engaging, and service-focused personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-paced environment
- Strong cash-handling and basic math skills
