What Does a Front Desk Agent Do?

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming experience while handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism. Your ability to communicate in both English and German will enhance the personalized service offered to our diverse clientele.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Welcome and check-in guests professionally while maintaining service standards
- Provide information on hotel facilities, amenities, and services
- Handle check-out procedures and settle guest accounts accurately
- Ensure guest requests and inquiries are handled promptly and courteously
- Maintain awareness of guest preferences and provide tailored experiences
- Follow hotel procedures, safety policies, and service protocols
- Handle administrative duties related to front office operations
- Assist other departments when needed to enhance overall guest satisfaction

What Skills Are Needed for a Front Desk Agent in Ajman?

Education:
- Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is an asset

Experience:
- Prior front desk or customer-facing experience preferred
- Experience in luxury hotel settings is an advantage

Skills:
- Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken)
- Professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows and ability to type at least 25 WPM
