What Does a Senior Cyber Cloud Security Consultant Do?
This role focuses on guiding clients through cloud security strategies, governance, compliance, and secure architecture design. You’ll assess threats, improve organizational cloud security posture, and lead project workstreams within a global team of cybersecurity professionals.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Advise clients on cloud security design and implementation, including secure landing zones, authentication, encryption, and incident management
- Analyze cloud security architectures and provide improvement recommendations based on industry standards
- Lead project substreams and mentor junior consultants on best practices in cloud and cyber security
- Support solution design for cloud compliance, governance, and monitoring within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
- Contribute to business development through sales proposals, offering development, and client presentations
What Skills Are Needed for This Cybersecurity Role in Hamburg?
Education:
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in cloud security consulting or architecture design
- Practical knowledge of cloud security frameworks and standards
- Experience in at least one key domain: cloud governance, compliance, architecture, monitoring, or cryptography
Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Certifications in cloud architecture or security are highly preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in both German (C1 level) and English
