What Does a Public Policy Experienced Associate Do?

As an Experienced Associate in the Public Policy team, you will support Deloitte Middle East’s public policy strategy by managing stakeholder engagements, creating impactful communications, and driving initiatives that align with regulatory trends and social responsibility goals. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to help shape meaningful public policy outcomes across the region.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Contribute to the design and execution of public policy strategies across Deloitte Middle East
- Support the implementation of regional and global public policy programs and digital platforms
- Assist in stakeholder engagement and communication across departments and geographies
- Draft policy briefs, internal news stories, social media content, and executive presentations
- Manage partnerships with external organizations to strengthen Deloitte’s public policy impact
- Leverage data to assess performance, report outcomes, and recommend program improvements
- Support the testing, launch, and promotion of tools, platforms, and learning materials
- Conduct research on policy issues and prepare clear, high-impact reports and summaries

What Skills Are Needed for a Public Policy Role in Dubai?

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Sciences, Sustainability, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred in a related discipline

Experience:
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational or professional services firm
- Background in external relations, stakeholder management, or government liaison roles

Skills:
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills in English and Arabic (required)
- Strategic thinking and ability to convey complex topics clearly to non-technical audiences
- Proven project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project collaboration tools
