Majid Al Futtaim Properties is hiring a Senior Collections Administrator to manage overdue collections and ensure the integrity of tenant account records across assigned assets within the Asset Management Business Unit. This Dubai-based role plays a key part in financial control, stakeholder coordination, and achieving collection KPIs in compliance with internal policies and IFRS standards.

What Does a Senior Collections Administrator Do?
The Senior Collections Administrator handles overdue receivables, communicates with tenants and internal teams, and ensures accurate accounting of all collections. The role requires problem-solving, account reconciliation, and follow-up strategies to reduce outstanding balances and support cash flow targets.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Coordinate with leasing, finance, and mall management teams to address outstanding collections
- Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve disputes affecting timely payments
- Ensure collection activities comply with IFRS, local tax laws, and MAF Properties’ policies
- Record and validate daily collections, ensuring proper documentation and authorization
- Provide regular updates on delays, risks, and cash flow performance to management
- Minimize high-risk outstanding balances and meet defined KPIs
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting activities
- Maintain up-to-date records in business systems and support internal/external audits
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and improvement of collection processes within the team
What Skills Are Needed for a Collections Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in debt collections, preferably in the real estate or property management sector
Skills:
- Strong account reconciliation and dispute resolution capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or business accounting systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with tenants and internal departments
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regional tax regulations
