P2P Associate Accountant – Accounts Payable Support (Cairo, Egypt)
Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is currently hiring a P2P Associate Accountant to support its Human Capital finance operations in Cairo, Egypt. This role will play a vital part in managing the procure-to-pay cycle, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and staff expense claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal financial controls.

What Does a P2P Associate Accountant Do?
The P2P Associate Accountant supports vendor account management, invoice approvals, and payment operations. The role ensures that all accounts payable processes are executed on time, within policy, and with strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and smooth vendor relations.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Maintain vendor accounts and ensure payments comply with internal policies and agreed terms
- Review and validate payment requests, invoices, and goods receipt notes for accuracy
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
- Process and verify staff travel and expense claims in line with policy
- Track and manage aging vendor accounts monthly and escalate issues if unresolved
- Handle supplier queries and complaints and ensure timely resolution
- Support accruals by preparing documentation and backup for financial closing activities
- Work under the direction of the P2P Process Lead Manager to meet service level expectations
What Skills Are Needed for a P2P Role in Cairo?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (mandatory)
Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in an accounts payable or finance role
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of P2P workflows and accounting controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Good communication skills and ability to handle pressure and deadlines
