What Does a P2P Associate Accountant Do?

The P2P Associate Accountant is responsible for processing vendor payments, reviewing expense claims, maintaining account reconciliations, and addressing supplier concerns. This role ensures smooth accounts payable operations aligned with company policies and service levels.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Maintain all vendor accounts in line with company policies and payment terms
- Review submitted payment requests for policy compliance
- Reconcile assigned vendor accounts and follow up on discrepancies
- Process and review staff travel and expense reimbursements
- Monitor vendor aging reports to identify and resolve overdue items
- Book invoices and payments as assigned by the P2P Process Lead
- Manage supplier inquiries and escalate unresolved issues as needed
- Perform accruals with complete supporting documentation

What Skills Are Needed for a P2P Role in Cairo?

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)

Experience:
- 6 months to 1 year in accounts payable or finance-related roles

Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
