The Senior Manager - Estimation will lead assigned projects by managing cost estimation functions, supervising project development, and ensuring budget alignment. This role involves cost analysis, contract negotiation, and collaboration with project teams to maintain financial efficiency and project feasibility.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Estimation in overseeing estimation team deliverables and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide budget advice to facilitate development teams in establishing project budgets and maintaining cost efficiency.
- Perform cost analysis, manage tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Oversee design changes at each milestone, identify variances, and guide design teams to align costs with allocated budgets.
- Establish cost monitoring principles, procedures, and reporting systems to provide project status updates to upper management.
- Evaluate cost consultancy fee proposals and review cost plan submissions to reflect the latest market trends.
- Develop and maintain an in-house cost database and benchmarking data for awarded contracts and cost plans.
- Take full responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring budget adherence and collaboration with internal departments.
- Conduct site visits as required to assess project progress and ensure compliance with cost parameters.
- Mentor and provide guidance to assigned managers within the estimation team.
- Stay updated on market trends and advise on potential cost escalations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and budgetary controls.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- RICS qualification preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience, with at least 4 years in project estimation within consultancy or master developer backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Understanding of project documents, including specifications and scopes of work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design sketches.
- Familiarity with CAD software for cost estimation and project planning.
- Stakeholder management skills to ensure budget alignment with design expectations.
- Strong project management, time management, and multitasking skills.
