Based at the Corporate Head Office in Dubai, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping culture, driving engagement programs, and managing organizational health across 17 countries.

What Does a Senior Employee Engagement Manager Do?
This role is responsible for leading initiatives that improve employee experience from onboarding to offboarding, overseeing culture and diversity programs, managing recognition frameworks, and building a high-performance, inclusive work environment across Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s global operations.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Design and manage the full employee journey, ensuring a cohesive and meaningful experience
- Lead strategic employee engagement programs, including recognition and service anniversary initiatives
- Guide, coach, and support local engagement champions across 17 countries
- Drive diversity and inclusion strategies, coordinating with the D&I council and reporting on progress
- Lead the Organization Health Index (OHI) survey process, support countries in creating and tracking action plans
- Oversee culture initiatives and provide strategic input to align them with business objectives
- Monitor engagement through surveys, digital platforms, and peer-to-peer feedback
- Analyze results and share actionable insights with leadership
- Ensure engagement practices are consistent, scalable, and in line with corporate standards
- Follow HR operational procedures to ensure consistent delivery across markets
What Skills Are Needed for an Employee Engagement Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, or employee experience roles
- Experience managing global or multi-country programs
- Hands-on experience in survey design, analytics, and agile HR project management
- Prior experience working closely with frontliners in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people development capabilities
- Functional knowledge of engagement and culture frameworks
- Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English
- Ability to translate feedback and data into meaningful business solutions
